महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-49, verse-36

स कदाचिन्मृगाँल्लिप्सुर्नान्वविन्दत्प्रयत्नवान् ।
अथापश्यत्स पीतोदं श्वापदं घ्राणचक्षुषम् ॥३६॥
36. sa kadācinmṛgāँllipsurnānvavindatprayatnavān ,
athāpaśyatsa pītodaṁ śvāpadaṁ ghrāṇacakṣuṣam.

atha apaśyat saḥ pīta-udam śvāpadam ghrāṇa-cakṣuṣam

36. Once, diligently searching for deer, he found none. Then he saw a beast of prey that had drunk water, which relied on its sense of smell for sight.
