महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-49, verse-20

प्राणिनामवधस्तात सर्वज्यायान्मतो मम ।
अनृतं तु भवेद्वाच्यं न च हिंस्यात्कथंचन ॥२०॥
20. prāṇināmavadhastāta sarvajyāyānmato mama ,
anṛtaṁ tu bhavedvācyaṁ na ca hiṁsyātkathaṁcana.
