महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-5, verse-74

कच्चिच्चारान्निशि श्रुत्वा तत्कार्यमनुचिन्त्य च ।
प्रियाण्यनुभवञ्शेषे विदित्वाभ्यन्तरं जनम् ॥७४॥
74. kacciccārānniśi śrutvā tatkāryamanucintya ca ,
priyāṇyanubhavañśeṣe viditvābhyantaraṁ janam.
74. kaccit cārān niśi śrutvā tat kāryam anucintya ca
priyāṇi anubhavan śeṣe viditvā abhyantaram janam
74. After listening to your spies at night and contemplating those matters, do you then rest peacefully and enjoy pleasantries, having truly understood the people within your inner circle?
