महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-5, verse-7

नारद उवाच ।
कच्चिदर्थाश्च कल्पन्ते धर्मे च रमते मनः ।
सुखानि चानुभूयन्ते मनश्च न विहन्यते ॥७॥
7. nārada uvāca ,
kaccidarthāśca kalpante dharme ca ramate manaḥ ,
sukhāni cānubhūyante manaśca na vihanyate.

manaḥ sukhāni ca anubhūyante manaḥ ca na vihanyate
7. Nārada said: Do your material pursuits (artha) flourish? Does your mind (manas) find joy in adhering to natural law (dharma)? Are you experiencing happiness? And is your mind not troubled?
