O king of kings (rājendra), the divine sage (devarṣi) Nārada, who possessed immeasurable splendor (amitadyuti) and was swift as thought (manojavāḥ), arrived, accompanied by Pārijāta, the intelligent Raivata, and the gentle Sumukha, delighted to behold the Pāṇḍavas present in the assembly.
