महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-149, verse-7

गृहीत्वा ये च गच्छन्ति येऽनुयान्ति च तान्मृतान् ।
तेऽप्यायुषः प्रमाणेन स्वेन गच्छन्ति जन्तवः ॥७॥
7. gṛhītvā ye ca gacchanti ye'nuyānti ca tānmṛtān ,
te'pyāyuṣaḥ pramāṇena svena gacchanti jantavaḥ.

te api āyuṣaḥ pramāṇena svena gacchanti jantavaḥ

7. Those who carry (the dead) and those who follow those deceased persons, they too, as living beings, depart according to their own measure of life.
