ततस्तानाह मनुजान्वरदोऽस्मीति शूलभृत् ।
ते प्रत्यूचुरिदं वाक्यं दुःखिताः प्रणताः स्थिताः ॥१०७॥

107. Then Shiva (the trident-bearer) said to those men, 'I am the giver of boons.' Distressed, bowing reverently, and standing, they replied with these words.
