महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-114, verse-81

एवं विभो तव पिता शरैर्विशकलीकृतः ।
शिताग्रैः फल्गुनेनाजौ प्राक्शिराः प्रापतद्रथात् ।
किंचिच्छेषे दिनकरे पुत्राणां तव पश्यताम् ॥८१॥
81. evaṁ vibho tava pitā śarairviśakalīkṛtaḥ ,
śitāgraiḥ phalgunenājau prākśirāḥ prāpatadrathāt ,
kiṁciccheṣe dinakare putrāṇāṁ tava paśyatām.

81. Thus, O Lord (Dhṛtarāṣṭra), your father (Bhīṣma) was shattered by the sharp-pointed arrows of Arjuna in battle. He fell headfirst from his chariot when but little of the day remained, as your sons watched.
