महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-114, verse-34

एवं ज्ञात्वा व्यवसितं भीष्मस्यामिततेजसः ।
ऋषयो वसवश्चैव वियत्स्था भीष्ममब्रुवन् ॥३४॥
34. evaṁ jñātvā vyavasitaṁ bhīṣmasyāmitatejasaḥ ,
ṛṣayo vasavaścaiva viyatsthā bhīṣmamabruvan.

ṛṣayaḥ vasavaḥ ca eva viyatsthāḥ bhīṣmam abruvan

34. Thus, having understood the resolve of Bhishma, who possessed immeasurable radiance, the sages and the Vasus, stationed in the sky, spoke to Bhishma.
