महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-114, verse-32

कारणद्वयमास्थाय नाहं योत्स्यामि पाण्डवैः ।
अवध्यत्वाच्च पाण्डूनां स्त्रीभावाच्च शिखण्डिनः ॥३२॥
32. kāraṇadvayamāsthāya nāhaṁ yotsyāmi pāṇḍavaiḥ ,
avadhyatvācca pāṇḍūnāṁ strībhāvācca śikhaṇḍinaḥ.
32. kāraṇadvayam āsthāya na aham yotsyāmi pāṇḍavaiḥ
avadhyatvāt ca pāṇḍūnām strībhāvāt ca śikhaṇḍinaḥ

32. Relying on two reasons, I will not fight with the Pandavas: due to the invulnerability of the Pandavas, and due to the feminine nature of Shikhandin.
