महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-114, verse-28

तस्य चिच्छेद तां शक्तिं पञ्चधा पञ्चभिः शरैः ।
संक्रुद्धो भरतश्रेष्ठ भीष्मबाहुबलेरिताम् ॥२८॥
28. tasya ciccheda tāṁ śaktiṁ pañcadhā pañcabhiḥ śaraiḥ ,
saṁkruddho bharataśreṣṭha bhīṣmabāhubaleritām.
28. तस्य चिच्छेद ताम् शक्तिम् पञ्चधा पञ्चभिः शरैः
संक्रुद्धः भरतश्रेष्ठ भीष्मबाहुबल ईरिताम्
28. भरतश्रेष्ठ संक्रुद्धः ताम् भीष्मबाहुबल ईरिताम्
शक्तिम् तस्य पञ्चभिः शरैः पञ्चधा चिच्छेद
28. O best of the Bhāratas, greatly enraged, he cut that spear (śakti), which was propelled by Bhīṣma's mighty arm, into five pieces with five arrows.
