ततः किरीटी संरब्धो भीष्ममेवाभ्यवर्तत ।
शिखण्डिनं पुरस्कृत्य धनुश्चास्य समाच्छिनत् ॥४६॥

46. tataḥ kirīṭī saṁrabdho bhīṣmamevābhyavartata ,
śikhaṇḍinaṁ puraskṛtya dhanuścāsya samācchinat.

46. Then, enraged, Arjuna (Kiriti) advanced upon Bhishma, placing Shikhandin in front, and cut off his (Bhishma's) bow.
