महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-114, verse-60

कृन्तन्ति मम गात्राणि माघमासे गवामिव ।
अर्जुनस्य इमे बाणा नेमे बाणाः शिखण्डिनः ॥६०॥

60. kṛntanti mama gātrāṇi māghamāse gavāmiva ,
arjunasya ime bāṇā neme bāṇāḥ śikhaṇḍinaḥ.

60. ime bāṇāḥ māgha-māse gavām iva mama gātrāṇi kṛntanti.

60. These arrows are not Śikhaṇḍin’s. These are Arjuna’s arrows, and they cut my limbs as (the severe cold) in the month of Māgha affects cows.
