सेनयोरुभयोश्चापि गाङ्गेये विनिपातिते ।
संन्यस्य वीराः शस्त्राणि प्राध्यायन्त समन्ततः ॥१०९॥

109. senayorubhayoścāpi gāṅgeye vinipātite ,
saṁnyasya vīrāḥ śastrāṇi prādhyāyanta samantataḥ.

109. And indeed, with Gaṅgeya (Bhīṣma) having fallen on both sides of the armies, the heroes, laying down their weapons, began to meditate intently in every direction.
