न च तच्छुश्रुवे कश्चित्तेषां संवदतां नृप ।
ऋते भीष्मं महाबाहुं मां चापि मुनितेजसा ॥३८॥

38. na ca tacchuśruve kaścitteṣāṁ saṁvadatāṁ nṛpa ,
ṛte bhīṣmaṁ mahābāhuṁ māṁ cāpi munitejasā.

38. na ca tat śuśruve kaścit teṣām saṃvadatām nṛpa
ṛte bhīṣmam mahābāhum mām ca api munitejasā

38. nṛpa teṣām saṃvadatām tat kaścit na ca śuśruve
bhīṣmam mahābāhum ca mām api ṛte munitejasā

38. And, O king, no one among them heard that conversation, except for the mighty-armed Bhishma and myself, due to the power of a sage.
