योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-34, verse-79

मूर्खा एव हि ते सर्वे बभुवुर्मे पितामहाः ।
इमां दृष्टिं परित्यज्य रेमिरे राज्यसंकटे ॥ ७९ ॥
mūrkhā eva hi te sarve babhuvurme pitāmahāḥ ,
imāṃ dṛṣṭiṃ parityajya remire rājyasaṃkaṭe 79
79. mūrkhāḥ eva hi te sarve babhūvuḥ me pitāmahāḥ
imām dṛṣṭim parityajya remire rājyasaṃkaṭe
79. hi,
te sarve me pitāmahāḥ mūrkhāḥ eva babhūvuḥ.
imām dṛṣṭim parityajya rājyasaṃkaṭe remire.
79. Indeed, all those ancestors of mine were fools (mūrkhāḥ); having abandoned this vision (dṛṣṭi), they revelled in the distress of the kingdom.
