श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इत्युक्त्वा दितिपुत्रेन्द्रं विष्णुरन्तरधीयत ।
कृतघर्घरनिर्ह्रादस्तरङ्गस्तोयधेरिव ॥ ४ ॥

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: "Having thus spoken to Prahlāda, the chief of Diti's sons, Viṣṇu disappeared, making a rumbling sound like the roaring waves of the ocean."
