When Mars (kuja) is in the 2nd house (house of wealth), Jupiter (jīva) is in the 12th house (house of loss), and Venus (bhṛgunandana), placed in the 5th house (house of progeny), is conjoined with Saturn (śani) and Rahu, or aspected [by malefics], there is a loss of progeny (sutakṣaya) due to a wife's curse.
