बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-83, verse-79

तस्य दोषस्य शान्त्यर्थं कुर्याच्चान्द्रायणं नरः ।
ब्रह्मकृच्छ्रत्र्यं कृत्वा धनुं दद्यात् सदक्षिणाम् ॥७९॥
79. tasya doṣasya śāntyarthaṃ kuryāccāndrāyaṇaṃ naraḥ .
brahmakṛcchratryaṃ kṛtvā dhanuṃ dadyāt sadakṣiṇām.
79. tasya doṣasya śāntyartham kuryāt cāndrāyaṇam naraḥ
brahmakṛcchratrayam kṛtvā dhanum dadyāt sadakṣiṇām
79. For the appeasement of that fault, a person should perform the Cāndrāyaṇa penance. After performing three Brahmakṛcchra penances, he should donate a bow along with a monetary gift (dakṣiṇā).
