बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-83, verse-63

अश्वत्थस्थापनं कुर्याद् दशधेनूश्च दापयेत् ।
पत्नीहस्तेन पुत्रेच्छुर्भूमिं दद्यात् फलान्विताम् ॥६३॥
63. aśvatthasthāpanaṃ kuryād daśadhenūśca dāpayet .
patnīhastena putrecchurbhūmiṃ dadyāt phalānvitām.

63. One should plant a sacred fig (aśvattha) tree and arrange for ten cows to be donated. A man desiring a son should give fertile land, with his wife's hand (as a symbolic gesture).
