When the lord of a malefic house (duḥsthāna) is in the house of children (5th), and the lord of the house of children (5th lord) is in a malefic house, and the Moon, who is the significator of the mother or the lord of the house of mother (4th house), is badly placed, then there is a loss of children (sutakṣaya) due to a mother's curse (mātṛśāpa).
