साधु पृष्टं त्वया विप्र कथ्यते हि तथा मया ।
यथोमया हि पृष्टेन शिवेन कथितं पुरा ॥४॥

O brahmin, you have asked well. It will indeed be told by me in the same way as it was formerly narrated by Śiva when asked by Umā.
