महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-4, verse-9

घोररूपान्परिक्लेशान्दुर्योधनकृतान्बहून् ।
प्रतिज्ञां स्मरता चैव भीमसेनेन पातितः ॥९॥
9. ghorarūpānparikleśānduryodhanakṛtānbahūn ,
pratijñāṁ smaratā caiva bhīmasenena pātitaḥ.

9. Indeed, because of the many dreadful troubles of ghastly nature caused by Duryodhana, he was struck down by Bhimasena, who remembered his vow.
