108. muhyamāno'bravīccāpi muhūrtaṁ tiṣṭha saṁjaya ,

naṣṭacittastataḥ so'tha babhūva jagatīpatiḥ.

muhyamānaḥ ca api abravīt - "saṃjaya,
muhūrtam tiṣṭhatāta,
sumahat apriyam śrutvā me manaḥ vyākulam [asti]।
" tataḥ atha saḥ naṣṭacittaḥ jagatīpatiḥ babhūva।
muhūrtam tiṣṭhatāta,
sumahat apriyam śrutvā me manaḥ vyākulam [asti]।
" tataḥ atha saḥ naṣṭacittaḥ jagatīpatiḥ babhūva।
108.
And being utterly bewildered, he also said, 'Wait for a moment, Saṃjaya! My mind, dear one, is greatly agitated after hearing such extremely unpleasant news.' Then, with his consciousness lost, that lord of the earth (Dhṛtarāṣṭra) became completely distraught.
