महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-112, verse-73

पूर्वं दत्त्वा तु यः कन्यां द्वितीये संप्रयच्छति ।
सोऽपि राजन्मृतो जन्तुः कृमियोनौ प्रजायते ॥७३॥

73. pūrvaṁ dattvā tu yaḥ kanyāṁ dvitīye saṁprayacchati ,
so'pi rājanmṛto jantuḥ kṛmiyonau prajāyate.

73. rājan,
tu yaḥ pūrvam kanyām dattvā dvitīye saṃprayacchati,
saḥ api mṛtaḥ jantuḥ kṛmiyonau prajāyate.

73. But whoever, O King, having first given a daughter (kanyā) (in marriage), then gives her away a second time, that creature, upon dying, is born into the species of worms.
