महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-112, verse-53

मातापितरमाक्रुश्य सारिकः संप्रजायते ।
ताडयित्वा तु तावेव जायते कच्छपो नृप ॥५३॥
53. mātāpitaramākruśya sārikaḥ saṁprajāyate ,
tāḍayitvā tu tāveva jāyate kacchapo nṛpa.

53. O King, after reviling one's father and mother, that person is born as a myna bird. But having actually struck them, one is born as a tortoise.
