महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-112, verse-69

सूकरः पञ्च वर्षाणि पञ्च वर्षाणि श्वाविधः ।

69. One remains a pig for five years, a porcupine for five years. An ant, indeed, for six months, and a worm for just one month. After experiencing these cycles of existence (saṃsāra), one is born in the species of insects.
