महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-112, verse-103

वर्णकादींस्तथा गन्धांश्चोरयित्वा तु मानवः ।
छुच्छुन्दरित्वमाप्नोति राजँल्लोभपरायणः ॥१०३॥
103. varṇakādīṁstathā gandhāṁścorayitvā tu mānavaḥ ,
chucchundaritvamāpnoti rājaँllobhaparāyaṇaḥ.

103. O king, a person who, overcome by greed, steals dyes, fragrances, and similar items, is born as a muskrat.
