महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-112, verse-90

ततस्तु निधनं प्राप्तः कालपर्यायचोदितः ।
अधर्मस्य क्षयं कृत्वा ततो जायति मानुषः ॥९०॥
90. tatastu nidhanaṁ prāptaḥ kālaparyāyacoditaḥ ,
adharmasya kṣayaṁ kṛtvā tato jāyati mānuṣaḥ.

adharmasya kṣayam kṛtvā tataḥ jāyati mānuṣaḥ

90. Then, having met his end, impelled by the turning of time, and having exhausted the effects of unrighteousness (adharma), he is subsequently born as a human being.
