महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-112, verse-72

कृमिर्जीवति वर्षाणि दश पञ्च च भारत ।
अधर्मस्य क्षयं कृत्वा ततो जायति मानुषः ॥७२॥
72. kṛmirjīvati varṣāṇi daśa pañca ca bhārata ,
adharmasya kṣayaṁ kṛtvā tato jāyati mānuṣaḥ.

72. bhārata,

72. O Bhārata, the worm lives for fifteen years. Having brought to an end its unrighteousness (adharma), it is then born as a human being.
