महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-112, verse-57

न्यासापहर्ता तु नरो यमस्य विषयं गतः ।
संसाराणां शतं गत्वा कृमियोनौ प्रजायते ॥५७॥

57. nyāsāpahartā tu naro yamasya viṣayaṁ gataḥ ,
saṁsārāṇāṁ śataṁ gatvā kṛmiyonau prajāyate.

57. However, a man who misappropriates a deposit, having gone to the realm of Yama, and having passed through a hundred cycles of transmigration (saṃsāra), is then born in the species of a worm.
