महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-102, verse-87

अथोद्भ्राम्य गदां भीमः कालदण्डमिवान्तकः ।
द्रोणायावसृजद्राजन्स रथादवपुप्लुवे ॥८७॥
87. athodbhrāmya gadāṁ bhīmaḥ kāladaṇḍamivāntakaḥ ,
droṇāyāvasṛjadrājansa rathādavapupluve.

droṇāya avasṛjat rājan saḥ rathāt avapupluve

87. Then, whirling his mace like the staff of Death (kāla-daṇḍa) wielded by Antaka (Yama), Bhīma hurled it at Droṇa. O King, (Droṇa) thereupon leaped down from his chariot.
