महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-102, verse-16

अतिभारे नियुक्तश्च मया शैनेयनन्दनः ।
स तु मित्रोपरोधेन गौरवाच्च महाबलः ।
प्रविष्टो भारतीं सेनां मकरः सागरं यथा ॥१६॥
16. atibhāre niyuktaśca mayā śaineyanandanaḥ ,
sa tu mitroparodhena gauravācca mahābalaḥ ,
praviṣṭo bhāratīṁ senāṁ makaraḥ sāgaraṁ yathā.

16. And the son of Shini (Satyaki) was entrusted with a great responsibility by me. But that immensely powerful one, compelled by friendship and out of respect, entered the Bharata army, just as a sea monster (makara) enters the ocean.
