महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-281, verse-97

न स्मराम्युक्तपूर्वां वै स्वैरेष्वप्यनृतां गिरम् ।
तेन सत्येन तावद्य ध्रियेतां श्वशुरौ मम ॥९७॥
97. na smarāmyuktapūrvāṁ vai svaireṣvapyanṛtāṁ giram ,
tena satyena tāvadya dhriyetāṁ śvaśurau mama.
97. na smarāmi uktapūrvām vai svaireshu api anṛtām giram
tena satyena tāvat adya dhriyetām śvaśurau mama
97. Indeed, I do not recall ever having uttered an untrue word, even in private or in jest. By the power of that truth, may my father-in-law and mother-in-law be sustained for this day.
