महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-281, verse-17

ततः समुद्धृतप्राणं गतश्वासं हतप्रभम् ।
निर्विचेष्टं शरीरं तद्बभूवाप्रियदर्शनम् ॥१७॥
17. tataḥ samuddhṛtaprāṇaṁ gataśvāsaṁ hataprabham ,
nirviceṣṭaṁ śarīraṁ tadbabhūvāpriyadarśanam.
17. tataḥ samuddhṛtaprāṇam gataśvāsam hataprabham
nirviceṣṭam śarīram tad babhūva apriyadarśanam
17. Then that body became unpleasant to behold, as its life (prāṇa) had been drawn out, its breath had departed, its luster was lost, and it was completely motionless.
