सावित्र्युवाच ।
अस्मिन्नद्य वने दग्धे शुष्कवृक्षः स्थितो ज्वलन् ।
वायुना धम्यमानोऽग्निर्दृश्यतेऽत्र क्वचित्क्वचित् ॥७६॥

76. sāvitryuvāca ,
asminnadya vane dagdhe śuṣkavṛkṣaḥ sthito jvalan ,
vāyunā dhamyamāno'gnirdṛśyate'tra kvacitkvacit.

Savitri said, 'In this now-burnt forest, a dry tree stands ablaze. Fanned by the wind, the fire can be seen here and there.'
