महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-281, verse-20

सावित्र्युवाच ।
यत्र मे नीयते भर्ता स्वयं वा यत्र गच्छति ।
मयापि तत्र गन्तव्यमेष धर्मः सनातनः ॥२०॥
20. sāvitryuvāca ,
yatra me nīyate bhartā svayaṁ vā yatra gacchati ,
mayāpi tatra gantavyameṣa dharmaḥ sanātanaḥ.
20. sāvitrī uvāca yatra me nīyate bhartā svayam vā yatra
gacchati mayā api tatra gantavyam eṣaḥ dharmaḥ sanātanaḥ
20. Sāvitrī said: "Wherever my husband is led, or wherever he goes by himself, I must also go there. This is the eternal natural law (dharma)."
