महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-281, verse-75

सत्यवानुवाच ।
वनं प्रतिभयाकारं घनेन तमसा वृतम् ।
न विज्ञास्यसि पन्थानं गन्तुं चैव न शक्ष्यसि ॥७५॥
75. satyavānuvāca ,
vanaṁ pratibhayākāraṁ ghanena tamasā vṛtam ,
na vijñāsyasi panthānaṁ gantuṁ caiva na śakṣyasi.
75. satyavān uvāca vanam pratibhayākāram ghanena tamasā
vṛtam na vijñāsyasi panthānam gantum ca eva na śakṣyasi
75. Satyavan said, 'The forest has a terrifying appearance, enveloped in dense darkness. You will not recognize the path, nor will you be able to travel.'
