महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-281, verse-1

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
अथ भार्यासहायः स फलान्यादाय वीर्यवान् ।
कठिनं पूरयामास ततः काष्ठान्यपाटयत् ॥१॥
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca ,
atha bhāryāsahāyaḥ sa phalānyādāya vīryavān ,
kaṭhinaṁ pūrayāmāsa tataḥ kāṣṭhānyapāṭayat.
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca atha bhāryāsahāyaḥ sa phalāni ādāya
vīryavān kaṭhinam pūrayām āsa tataḥ kāṣṭhāni apāṭayat
1. Mārkaṇḍeya said: "Then, that valorous man, accompanied by his wife, having collected fruits, filled his container, and thereafter split firewood."
