अन्योन्यकृतवैराणां संवासान्मृदुतां गतम् ।
नैव तिष्ठति तद्वैरं पुष्करस्थमिवोदकम् ॥३७॥

37. anyonyakṛtavairāṇāṁ saṁvāsānmṛdutāṁ gatam ,
naiva tiṣṭhati tadvairaṁ puṣkarasthamivodakam.

37. The hostility (vaira) that arose between those who were mutually antagonistic, having become softened by cohabitation, does not remain at all, just like water resting on a lotus leaf.
