न तद्बुधाः प्रशंसन्ति श्रेयस्तत्रापसर्पणम् ॥२१॥

Pūjanī said: 'The wise (budhāḥ) do not commend someone who, having committed a transgression (aparādha) once, then lingers in that very spot. Departing from there is indeed better.'
