महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-137, verse-13

क्षत्रिये संगतं नास्ति न प्रीतिर्न च सौहृदम् ।
कारणे संभजन्तीह कृतार्थाः संत्यजन्ति च ॥१३॥

13. kṣatriye saṁgataṁ nāsti na prītirna ca sauhṛdam ,
kāraṇe saṁbhajantīha kṛtārthāḥ saṁtyajanti ca.
