महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-137, verse-107

बलिना विग्रहो राजन्न कथंचित्प्रशस्यते ।
बलिना विगृहीतस्य कुतो राज्यं कुतः सुखम् ॥१०७॥

107. balinā vigraho rājanna kathaṁcitpraśasyate ,
balinā vigṛhītasya kuto rājyaṁ kutaḥ sukham.

107. O king, conflict with a powerful opponent is in no way commendable. For one who is caught in a dispute with a powerful opponent, how can there be sovereignty? How can there be happiness?
