महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-137, verse-23

अन्योन्यं कृतवैराणां पुत्रपौत्रं निगच्छति ।
पुत्रपौत्रे विनष्टे तु परलोकं निगच्छति ॥२३॥
23. anyonyaṁ kṛtavairāṇāṁ putrapautraṁ nigacchati ,
putrapautre vinaṣṭe tu paralokaṁ nigacchati.

23. Enmity among those who have become hostile to each other extends to their sons and grandsons. But when even sons and grandsons are destroyed, then it (the enmity) reaches the other world.
