महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-88, verse-6

निकृत्या भ्रंशिता राज्याज्जनार्हा निर्जनं गताः ।
विनीतक्रोधहर्षाश्च ब्रह्मण्याः सत्यवादिनः ॥६॥
6. nikṛtyā bhraṁśitā rājyājjanārhā nirjanaṁ gatāḥ ,
vinītakrodhaharṣāśca brahmaṇyāḥ satyavādinaḥ.

6. Though deserving of honor, they were displaced from their kingdom by deceit and went to a desolate place. They had subdued their anger and joy, were devoted to sacred knowledge (brahman), and were truthful.
