महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-173, verse-88

धूम्रं रूपं च यत्तस्य धूर्जटिस्तेन उच्यते ।
विश्वे देवाश्च यत्तस्मिन्विश्वरूपस्ततः स्मृतः ॥८८॥
88. dhūmraṁ rūpaṁ ca yattasya dhūrjaṭistena ucyate ,
viśve devāśca yattasminviśvarūpastataḥ smṛtaḥ.
88. dhūmram rūpam ca yat tasya dhūrjaṭiḥ tena ucyate
viśve devāḥ ca yat tasmin viśvarūpaḥ tataḥ smṛtaḥ
88. yat tasya rūpam dhūmram (asti) tena dhūrjaṭiḥ ucyate ca
yat viśve devāḥ tasmin (santi) tataḥ viśvarūpaḥ smṛtaḥ
88. Because his form is smoky, he is therefore called Dhūrjaṭi. And because all the gods (devāḥ) are contained within him, he is consequently known as Viśvarūpa.
