महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-173, verse-38

वनस्पतीनां पतये नराणां पतये नमः ।
अपां च पतये नित्यं यज्ञानां पतये नमः ॥३८॥
38. vanaspatīnāṁ pataye narāṇāṁ pataye namaḥ ,
