अन्धाश्च तमसा लोका न प्रकाशन्त संवृताः ।
जघ्निवान्सह सूर्येण सर्वेषां ज्योतिषां प्रभाः ॥४६॥

46. The worlds, blinded by darkness and completely enveloped, no longer shone. He (Maheśvara) had destroyed the brilliance of all celestial bodies, including the sun.
