महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-173, verse-62

अथाभ्येत्य ततो ब्रह्मा दृष्ट्वा च स महेश्वरम् ।
अयं श्रेष्ठ इति ज्ञात्वा ववन्दे तं पितामहः ॥६२॥
62. athābhyetya tato brahmā dṛṣṭvā ca sa maheśvaram ,
ayaṁ śreṣṭha iti jñātvā vavande taṁ pitāmahaḥ.
62. atha abhyetya tataḥ brahmā dṛṣṭvā ca saḥ maheśvaram
ayam śreṣṭhaḥ iti jñātvā vavande tam pitāmahaḥ
62. atha tatas brahmā ca saḥ abhyetya maheśvaram dṛṣṭvā
ayam śreṣṭhaḥ iti jñātvā tam pitāmahaḥ vavande
62. Then, Brahma, having approached and seen that great lord (Maheśvara), and recognizing "This one is supreme," the grandfather (pitāmaha) thereupon worshipped him.
