महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-173, verse-85

पूज्यमाने ततस्तस्मिन्मोदते स महेश्वरः ।
सुखी प्रीतश्च भवति प्रहृष्टश्चैव शंकरः ॥८५॥
85. pūjyamāne tatastasminmodate sa maheśvaraḥ ,
sukhī prītaśca bhavati prahṛṣṭaścaiva śaṁkaraḥ.
85. pūjyamāne tataḥ tasmin modate saḥ maheśvaraḥ
sukhī prītaḥ ca bhavati prahṛṣṭaḥ ca eva śaṅkaraḥ
85. tataḥ tasmin pūjyamāne saḥ maheśvaraḥ modate sukhī
ca prītaḥ ca bhavati śaṅkaraḥ ca eva prahṛṣṭaḥ
85. Therefore, when that (emblem) is worshipped, Maheśvara rejoices. He becomes happy and pleased, and Śaṅkara is indeed greatly delighted.
